Siren

"I suddenly found myself drifting in the ocean,
away from the ship I was on.
How I ended up here, I have no idea.
But it could only be of the desire to know of that
beautiful creature floating about the murky waters.

Its beauty enthralled me,
enticing me into temptation of having it within my reach.
I felt spellbound as my body moved on its own.
There it was. Oh, there she was.
Her voluminous body as dark as seaweed moved swiftly
as she glides through the deep waters.

She opened her mouth and a lovely tune began echoing all over the place.
Entranced, I let myself be reeled in her melody.
My vision then became clouded.
My eyelids giving up on me, losing strength to hold on.

Little did i know, I was already pulled into darkness,
in the caves of nowhere
Never to see the light of day ever again."
